Alliance Team
takes the Pan 2010 Title

Alliance Team won the team competition going
away leading the second place getter by 100 points. "Jacare" and Gurgel were
ecstatic, as Romero put it: "We are sending a message announcing our
intentions for the Worlds. We will be here with an even stronger team with
the addition of Marcelo Garcia and some other names that couldn't make it to
the Pan".
Gurgel: "Once again we've shown that our team's hard work pays. They all are
to be congratulated for their efforts."
Marcelo Garcia confirmed: "Yes I'll be competing in the Worlds. I am
training hard and preparing for it."
Ladies weight and Absolute Champion Luana Alzuguir: "I am very happy and now
it's on to the World Pro BJJ."
Luana leaves for Abu Dhabi this week along with many of her Alliance
teammates to participate in the World BJJ Pro.
